Polo, AR - Carroll County
History of Polo
Located about 9 miles North of Berryville on the East side of HWY 221, the small town of Polo was also known as "Antioch". The first Polo Post Office was established on September 29, 1873, with Priar L. Richardson serving as postmaster. The Post Office closed several times in the mid-1870's, and then closed for good on September 26, 1906, with mail service transferred to the town of Urbanette.
